Connected Accounts & Player Profile
The Player Profile and Connected Accounts sections of Settings store your identity information. Nothing here is sent to any server — it is stored entirely on your machine.
Go to Settings from the left sidebar to access both sections.
Player Profile
Section titled “Player Profile”The Player Profile section stores your name as it appears in PGN headers. Masterboard uses this to identify which games are yours across all imported PGN files — for example, to attribute accuracy percentages to the correct player and to detect personal games for statistics features.
Your name
Section titled “Your name”Enter your name in the format it appears in PGN [White] and [Black] headers (for example, Carlsen, Magnus or Magnus Carlsen). Matching is case-insensitive.
If your name appears in different formats across different sources, add one row per format:
- Enter the first format in the initial field.
- Click + Add variant to add another row.
- Enter the second format (e.g.
Magnus Carlsenif the first row isCarlsen, Magnus).
Masterboard checks all variants when identifying your games.
Making changes
Section titled “Making changes”Changes are saved automatically when you leave a field. No restart is required.
Connected Accounts

Lichess username
